research, design, and development of innovative signal processing systems for
advanced digital communication devices, software, and systems.
Company Profile
|
Moriah Technologies, Inc. specializes in the
research and development of advanced digital communication algorithms,
techniques, and systems. The Company has developed two innovative,
advanced, and proprietary digital communications techniques referred to
as Coherent Angle Modulation Spread Spectrum and InterProduct
Exponential Codes.
Coherent Angle Modulation Spread
Spectrum
Coherent angle modulation spread
spectrum (CAMSS) is accomplished through the use of three advanced
modulation building blocks. They are:
-
Coded
Intermodulation Multiple Access (CIMA)
-
Intermodulation Waveform Shift Keying (IWSK)
-
Multi-Dimensional Symbol Multiplexing (MDSM)
Coded
Intermodulation Multiple Access (CIMA) is an
MDSM-based, constant-envelope, digital angle modulated multi-user,
code division multi-access scheme. The major advantage offered by
this modulation scheme is that it provides an increase of system
capacity through a system processing gain that is linearly proportional
to the ratio of the RF bandwidth to the information rate. Secondly, CIMA
uniquely allows "multiple MDSM" users to simultaneously share and access
the same communications channel at the same time and at the same
frequency.
Intermodulation Waveform Shift Keying (IWSK)
is an MDSM-based, constant-envelope, digital angle modulated data
transport technique. The major advantage offered by this technique
is that it provides a system processing gain that increases non-linearly
in proportion to the bandwidth expansion. This feature enables the
development of systems that provide high capacity data transmission
rates, and that have extremely high immunity to intentional and
unintentional interference. A second key advantage is that it eliminates
the high peak-to-average power ratio problem inherent to
present-generation MDSM systems, thereby enabling systems that offer
improved operating performance and that are more power, cost, weight,
and size efficient.
Multi-Dimensional Symbol Multiplexing (MDSM)
is an innovative multi-dimensional "data transport" and "codeword"
symbol encoding technique. In the CAMSS signaling system, the MDSM
symbols define a waveform-based, block-oriented data symbol set. This
waveform-based MDSM symbol increases the receiver immunity to channel
interference, noise, and multi-path effects.
InterProduct Exponential Code
InterProduct Exponential Coding
(IPEC) is an advanced and
innovative non-binary forward error correction coding technique.
InterProduct Exponential Codes are implemented as systematic,
cyclic block codes. In the IPEC encoding system, non-binary bit groups
are converted into a set or system of tightly coupled, interdependent
linear algebraic equations. The coupling and interdependency
relationships introduces a "graphical circular" memory component into
the encoding process of the codeword. The IPEC forward error correction
system supports the “optimum” implementation of high data rate,
bandwidth-efficient, and power-efficient communications of data.
